Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Foundation Training Course

The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) examination is aimed at project management professionals who are using or wish to use agile methodologies in their organization. The PMI-ACP certifies that a person has real-world experience managing agile projects and is familiar with the variou subsets of the agile methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean and others.

"AgilePM® Foundation Training" is a comprehensive introductory course to the Agile Project Management 2.0 methodology, dedicated to people interested in implementing the Agile approach in projects. The program covers key issues related to project management, such as the Agile philosophy, success factors, process design, team organization and effective practices. Participants acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply Agile in practice.

"AgilePM® Practitioner training" allows you to develop competences in project management based on the Agile methodology Project Management version 2.0. It is dedicated to Agile Project Managers and people interested in implementing the Agile approach. The course covers topics such as the organization of Agile teams, the project life cycle, effective product delivery, project estimation, risk management and DSDM configuration. Participants prepare for certification through a practical exam, gaining the international AgilePM® Practitioner certificate.

This course provides guidance into the process Owner responsibilities so they can describe what they are doing as a process and provides the education needed to oversee the design, re-engineering and improvement of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes; particularly in the context of Agile Service Management. Participants learn how to apply Scrum practices to Process Owner responsibilities and use Agile and Lean principles and practices to put in place ‘just enough’ process and how to continually align process performance with overall business goals. 

Learn how to use Agile Service Management to increase the customer value your processes create and to compete in a fast-paced disruptive world. A Certified Agile Service Manager is the working equivalent of a development Scrum Master. Together, Scrum Masters and Agile Service Managers can instill Agile thinking into the entire IT organization as the basis of a DevOps culture.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum in a highly practical way. Students hit the ground running through instruction and team-based exercises.

Working in a series of Sprints, teams of students build a software application, thereby facing real-life problems. The mechanics, roles, principles and (empirical) process of Scrum are demonstrated. Common missteps and misunderstandings are discussed so students grow a higher awareness of their symptoms.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is the training for teams and anyone wanting to experience the Scrum way of working. The course also provides the foundation of knowledge needed for role-focused training for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers, as offered in Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Development classes.

The class introduces the mechanics of Scrum, as well as provides insights into complexity, team-based collaboration and self-organization as essential elements in mastering Scrum. Students will experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts.

From its emphasis on practical application the course exposes common missteps, increases the awareness of the associated symptoms, and provides prescriptive guidance to avoid going off track.

Students are challenged to act in terms of Scrum. They take home an increased understanding of how to collaborate better and work as a team.

Professional Scrum Certification

All participants completing the Applying Professional Scrum course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSM I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. APS class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

You are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment once passing PSM I.

The training allows you to familiarize yourself with the knowledge, techniques, tools and practices in the field of project management based on the "Scrum framework" from the perspective of the Scrum Master - the leader responsible for understanding and applying Scrum, efficiency.

The training is dedicated to people interested in implementing Agile approaches in the organization, people participating in projects, project managers implementing or planning to implement Agile approaches in projects.

The training consists of a substantive part, workshops and practical examples. As part of the training, participants are prepared for certification - Scrum Master through a test exam and have the opportunity to take the certification exam.

The training is a natural continuation of the path of development for Scrum Masters.

The training is dedicated to Scrum Masters who are interested in further developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of Scrum in the organization.

The training consists of a substantive part, workshops, practical examples.
As part of the training, participants are prepared for certification - Scrum Master level II through a test exam and have the opportunity to take the certification exam.
